Growing up in Carpinteria, California, Caroline Chufar developed a lifelong connection to Santa Barbara and its surrounding communities. As an avid equestrian from an early age, she spent much of her youth riding through the Carpinteria and Santa Barbara foothills, developing a deep appreciation for the area's natural beauty, distinctive neighborhoods, and hidden gems.
A third-generation Realtor, Caroline earned her California real estate license in 1997. She has maintained her license while pursuing a lifetime of service and is proud to be affiliated with Coast & Valley Properties, whose values of integrity and personal service closely reflect her own. In addition to her real estate practice, she serves as Artistic Director of the Santa Barbara Jazz Society.
Following her family's tradition in real estate, Caroline has maintained a lifelong involvement in the performing arts. Active in musical theater from an early age, she developed a love of classical and jazz singing and continues to perform today.
Her career has included serving adolescents with developmental disabilities, providing compassionate care for older adults and individuals with complex physical and cognitive needs, and developing a strong foundation in customer service, sales, and leadership during her years at Nordstrom. Today, she continues to share her gift of music by singing at Saturday Mass for the Franciscan community at the historic Santa Barbara Mission.
Whether through music, community service, or real estate, Caroline remains committed to helping people through life's important transitions with compassion, integrity, and care.
